The only problem is I have no coding experience at all.
I sought help from a ‘professional’ web developer which was a huge mistake.
$900 and six weeks later I received my web site in a zipped file by e-mail.
The work was appalling and nothing like what I had asked for.
Having no knowledge of coding, uploading and setting up servers etc, I had no idea at all what to do with this file. I was told by the developer “That was that” and to pay the balance owing.
I was completely at a loss. Purely by accident I came across Kalk Online. I could see the site is very simple and professional looking, which was exactly what I was looking for.
I called them and spoke to Leanne. She told me she did all the work herself (based on the oscommerce template) and would be happy to help, as she had been through similar experiences when starting out.
The best part about dealing with Leanne is that nothing is too much trouble and no question is too silly. I truly believe that the sign of a true professional web developer is to give the customer exactly what they want, not what they want you to have.
My site is constantly under development and, with Leanne’s help, its looking and performing better each time we make changes.
Pricing was also a major concern, but Leanne delivered on time at a very reasonable cost.
If you are new to e-commerce or need to take your site to the next level, I’d recommend Kalk Web Designs without any hesitation at all.
